The moose is the biggest member of the deer family. It has very long legs and a big, funny-looking nose! Boy moose have huge, flat antlers that can be wider than a grown-up’s arms stretched out. Moose live in cold forests near lakes and rivers.
Moose love to eat plants, leaves, and bark from trees. They are great swimmers and sometimes dip their heads underwater to munch on water plants. Even though moose are very big, they can run really fast. Baby moose have long, wobbly legs and stay close to their moms!
