Puffins are small, colorful birds that live near the cold ocean. They have bright orange beaks and black and white feathers. People sometimes call them “clowns of the sea” because of their funny, colorful faces! Puffins can fly and also swim underwater.
Puffins are amazing at catching fish. They can hold many fish in their beak at the same time! Puffins live on rocky cliffs near the sea. They dig little tunnels in the ground to make nests for their babies. A baby puffin is called a puffling!
