The coyote looks like a small, thin dog with pointy ears and a bushy tail. It has gray and brown fur. Coyotes are very smart and can live in many different places, from deserts to forests and even near cities!
At night, coyotes howl and yip to talk to each other. They eat many kinds of food like rabbits, berries, and bugs. Baby coyotes are called pups, and they love to play and wrestle with each other.
