The snow leopard lives high up in the snowy mountains of Asia. It has thick, fluffy gray and white fur with dark spots. Its long, bushy tail helps it stay balanced on rocky cliffs.
Snow leopards are very shy and hard to find. People sometimes call them the “ghost of the mountains.” Their big, furry paws work like snowshoes to help them walk on top of the snow without sinking.
