Toucans are tropical birds with very big, colorful beaks. Their beaks can be orange, yellow, red, and green. Even though their beaks look heavy, they are actually very light. Toucans use their beaks to reach fruit on branches.
Toucans live in the rain forests of Central and South America. They like to hop from branch to branch in the treetops. Toucans eat fruit, bugs, and sometimes small lizards. They sleep in holes in trees and tuck their big beaks over their backs!
