Chickens are birds that live on farms. They have feathers, two legs, and a beak. A boy chicken is called a rooster. A girl chicken is called a hen. Baby chickens are called chicks.
Hens lay eggs that people eat for breakfast. Chickens like to scratch the ground to find bugs and seeds. They say “cluck cluck” and roosters say “cock-a-doodle-doo” in the morning!
