Turkeys are big birds with colorful feathers. The boys can spread their tail feathers out like a big fan to show off! Turkeys have a wobbly piece of skin on their chin called a wattle. They also have a bumpy piece on top of their beak called a snood.
Turkeys say “gobble gobble” and live on farms. They eat seeds, bugs, and berries. Wild turkeys can actually fly short distances, but farm turkeys mostly walk around on the ground.
