Sea turtles are gentle animals that swim in warm ocean water. They have hard shells on their backs that keep them safe. Sea turtles use their big flippers to glide through the water like they are flying!
Mother sea turtles come onto the beach to lay their eggs in the sand. When the baby turtles hatch, they crawl all the way to the ocean by themselves. Sea turtles can live for a very long time, even over 100 years!
