Starfish are cool animals shaped like stars! Most starfish have five arms, but some can have even more. Starfish are not really fish at all. They do not have fins or gills like fish do.
Starfish can do something really amazing. If a starfish loses one of its arms, it can grow a new one back! Starfish move very slowly along the ocean floor using tiny tube feet on the bottom of their arms.
