Crocodiles are large reptiles that have been around since the time of the dinosaurs. They have long, pointy snouts and lots of sharp teeth. You can sometimes see their teeth even when their mouth is closed!
Crocodiles spend most of their time in the water. They are very good at hiding with just their eyes and nose above the surface. Crocodiles live in warm places like Africa, Australia, and South America.
