Cesar Chavez was a caring leader who worked hard to help people who picked the fruits and vegetables we eat! He noticed that these important farm workers were not treated fairly and did not have safe places to work. Cesar believed that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect. He decided to speak up and bring people together to make things better!
Cesar led peaceful marches and asked people to stop buying certain foods until the workers were treated well! Because of his brave work, many farm workers got better pay and safer jobs. He showed the world that when we work together, we can make big changes! We can remember Cesar by standing up for what is right!
