Harriet Tubman was an incredibly brave and smart leader who helped many enslaved people find their way to freedom! She was born into a life where she was not free, but when she grew up, she decided to run away and find a safe place where she could live happily. But Harriet didn’t just stay in that safe place! She sneaked back many times to guide her friends and family to safety, acting like a conductor on a special secret path called the Underground Railroad.
Harriet is famous for being super sneaky and always knowing the right way to go by following the North Star in the night sky! During a big war in America, she even worked as a spy and a nurse to help soldiers fight for freedom. Because of her courage and huge heart, she was known as ‘Moses’ to the people she saved. Her amazing story teaches us to be strong, helpful, and always stand up for what is right!
