All around the world, children go to school to learn and play! Some schools are in big, tall buildings in busy cities. Other schools are in small wooden houses in the quiet countryside. In some places, like Bangladesh, schools even float on big boats! Some children walk to school, some ride a yellow bus, and some even take a boat to get to their classroom.
Children wear many different things to school. In some countries, every student wears the same special uniform, like a blue sweater or a plaid skirt. In other places, kids wear their favorite comfortable clothes from home. At lunchtime, some children eat a warm meal with their friends, while others bring a snack in a lunchbox. Even though schools look different, children everywhere love to read, draw, and play with their friends!
