Neptune is the eighth and farthest planet from the sun. It’s a giant ball of gas, like Jupiter and Saturn, and is also called an “ice giant” because it has a lot of ice in its atmosphere.
Neptune is very windy! In fact, it has some of the strongest winds in our solar system—over 1,000 miles per hour! It’s also a beautiful deep blue color, and it has several rings and moons.
