The first moon landing was on July 20, 1969, when the Apollo 11 mission landed on the moon! Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first people to walk on the moon’s surface.
The mission was a giant success and helped us learn more about what it’s like to live and work on another planet. It also inspired many other people to explore the universe!
