A star is a giant ball of hot, glowing gas that shines very brightly. Stars are made mostly of hydrogen and helium and are what make our night sky so beautiful.
Stars are very far away from us, so they look like tiny points of light in the sky. But they’re actually much bigger than Earth! Some of them are even bigger than our sun!
